To maximize efficiency, farmers make sure they always have certain products on hand. From pest control products, personal safety items to tools and gear, our Animal Health Store is the ideal place to find all these things. The staff always provide friendly, professional advice and industry expertise. (Not to mention a great cup of coffee!)

Premixed vitamins and minerals are put into animal and livestock feed. This is important for healthy growth and development as it ensures the animals will provide top quality dairy products, meats, and eggs. Nature’s Pride Nutrition is our state-of-the-art micro premix plant that produces superior premix and ingredients serving a variety of industries including poultry, dairy and swine as well as fish and pets.

Did you know that all chickens are not the same? Every breed of chicken has a different potential. One type, which is sold as meat are called “broilers”. Their parents are called “broiler breeders”. Broiler breeders lay eggs which are hatched as “broiler chicks”. Another type of bird lays quality nutritious eggs. They are called “layers”. Their parents are called “leghorn breeders”. The Friesen Farms produce broiler breeder eggs, leghorn breeder eggs, as well as eggs and chicken for people to eat.
OUR PEEPS (OUR HATCHERY)
Farmers who produce eggs for you to enjoy start with day-old layer chicks. Pacific Pride Chicks has been hatching day-old layer chicks for farms across Western Canada for over 30 years. These day-old layer chicks eventually become laying hens, which produce eggs destined for retail stores and your favorite local breakfast spot!
THE CHOICE OF CHICKENS (OUR POULTRY FEED FACILITY)
Farmers know the importance of giving their poultry the right kind of food. They want confidence that their animal’s nutritional needs are met and that they grow and develop to their potential. Clearbrook Grain & Milling has been making and selling superior poultry feed for over 60 years. We source the best grains from all over North America and combine them with Nature’s Pride Nutrition premix to make a winning combination. Sure to put a smile on the face of our chickens.
GOOD FEED, HEALTHY COWS, BETTER MILK (OUR DAIRY FEED FACILITY)
Dairy cows are excited when our feed trucks drive up because they like a high quality diet. Local farmers combine their own grown grass and corn with our quality grain and vitamin mix. This feed is produced at our dairy mill, Excel Feeds. Together we produce the best milk around. At Excel Feeds we’ve been delighting cows, pigs, and farmers alike for over 20 years.
HERE FOR YOU, HERE FOR YOUR ANIMALS
We have 2 feed mills and a vitamin premix plant. This enables us to keep the different feeds and ingredients completely separate. Our animals prefer it that way.
