One of British Columbia’s longest-standing feed companies, Clearbrook Grain & Milling began in 1953 as a small independent supplier to local farms. Since that time, the company has grown to become a premium feed supplier to commercial poultry, dairy and hog farms throughout the province and is still proudly family-owned and operated.

  • Reconditioned cooler for improved pellet quality
  • Pellet durability testing to ensure pellet hardness
  • Increased mixer efficiency time and conditioning temperature for improved gelatinization
  • New crumble size for fine and coarse crumbles to meet customer needs
  • New spray fat application for increased consistency

Load Out

  • New flushing lines installed to prevent cross contamination
  • Scale verification quarterly to ensure ongoing accuracy

Receiving

  • Minimum/Maximum grain standards and representative sampling on all incoming ingredients
  • Segregated grain bins to ensure consistency
  • Preventative Maintenance program revised to achieve GMP/HACCP certification
